"Your recent feature of Jesus Pacheco and the cast and crew of TM's Oklahoma was a treat. I plan on showing the videos to my students. Not only does it tell of the true passion and dedication that community actors must have for their art but it also shows a theatre that thrives because of its high level of professionalism. Hooray for Theatre Memphis! Thanks for posting such a worthwhile piece!"
Ashley Bugg Brown, Lausanne Collegiate School
"...marvelous, gracefully conveying the joy and the passion of the players. ...Very well done!"
Jeff Nessin, Memphis College of Art
"Sometimes, really rare sometimes, something, a really wonderful something, crosses your path and reminds you of just how far you've come and just how much the journey has meant. The two pieces posted on the ArtsMemphis TV home page that take the viewer behind the scenes of the Theatre Memphis production of Oklahoma! are that rare and that wonderful. On behalf of all of us in the Theatre Memphis family, I'd like to thank Jesus Pacheco for sharing his story, and thank ArtsMemphis for making the family look so good. Spirits around here are as high as an elephant's eye."
Dan Conaway, Past President, Theatre Memphis
"Hooray for ArtsMemphis teaming up with Live from Memphis! This wonderful piece is not just about Botero; it's a mini-documentary about Brooks and how they put exhibitions together, how they choose exhibitions from year to year, and who the people are behind the scenes who make it all happen. Most important, they get to show their PASSION for what the do! Kudos to Live From Memphis and Christopher on a great video!"
MJ from Memphis, TN
"The main reason I’m really proud to have been a part of Arts Memphis TV is because you guys did such a wonderful job of keeping the personality intact. Basically you kept it real, and real is, well… Truth."
Morgan Jon Fox-Sawed-Off Collaboratory Productions
"OK, that video is SO great that it made me cry!!! You have made a film that expresses exactly what I would want to say to the public about opera, my company, and the people I work with – and you gave me that voice! You guys are so talented, thank you SO MUCH for sharing that talent with us!!!!!"
Allison Merritt, Director of Production, Opera Memphis
"That was great! I got a bunch of the people on my floor to gather around, and we watched it here in my office. I loved it, and if I didn’t work here I would think, "Hey, I want to go see that museum"… I was especially thankful that whatever unintelligible thing I said when the camera was pointed at my face was edited out. But seriously, we were all very excited to see it. Thank you & the rest of the team for all your hard work."
Elisabeth Callihan, Public Relations and Public Events Manager, Brooks Museum
"ArtsMemphisTV did impact my life greatly. It generated more interest in my art and my story, and perhaps in art and culture in general, since my personal story of loss, pain and love tied closely with my art, making it personal and easy to relate to for people who are not in the art world as well as fellow artists. I also believe that it helped to introduce me and my work to Memphis, since I am new here and do spend most of my time traveling with shows all over the world. And now that Memphis is my base I would like to promote art and culture in Memphis and Arts Memphis TV definitely helped me with it and hopefully would continue to do so. Thank you!"

I can definitely say that the video helped spread awareness about my work with Chatterbox. Even people who knew I did audio theater only "got it" when they saw the video. I had multiple people tell me they didn't realize how involved the process was, or how interesting. The video continues to serve as a great introduction to what I do. Being involved in ArtsMemphis TV encouraged me to go back and watch some of the episodes I'd missed. I'm amazed at the breadth and scope of the project, and at how many creative, unique people are living and working in Memphis. There's no way around it -- seeing all those artists creates a real sense of civic pride.

"In undertaking a broad survey of the arts community throughout Greater Memphis, we were excited to find the city’s artists working together in new ways. A number of innovative, cross-disciplinary partnerships are helping not only to raise the visibility of various arts initiatives, but fostering spirits of co-operation, learning and sharing… ArtsMemphis, one of our city’s most critical cultural organizations, partnered with Live From Memphis, a highly active, arts-centered Web site. Together, they are spreading awareness of various artists and arts programs in and beyond Memphis."
John Moore, President, Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce
