Sure you fly by it on Walnut Grove in a rush to beat Cordova traffic to one of the 17 Wal-Marts or 23 Starbucks in the nearby area, but have you actually pulled in and strolled the scenic majesty that is Shelby Farms? 

Let me tell you how great you have it Memphis. Shelby Farms is 4,500 acres of bike-riding trails, walking paths, picnic areas, lakes, rivers, disc golf, horseback riding and more. New York City has to settle on only 843 acres of puny li'l Central Park and last time I was there I don't remember seeing any bison.
