Shalishah "Petey" Franklin, a self-proclaimed collector, has traveled all over the country seeking out unique treasures for her online store Strange Fruit Vintage.

Recently launched in April 2010, Strange Fruit Vintage is an online urban vintage clothing boutique that specializes in offering quality clothes and accessories from the 1980s to present.

Accenting its virtual existence, Strange Fruit Vintage will soon be spreading its wings into the physical world as well by hosting a series of "Pop-up Shops."  Popular in New York, the "Pop-up Shops" will allow Petey to establish a physical presence in unique venues around the city.

With the support of her friends and family, Petey is living her dream and helping to bring back some "old school" style to Memphis.
