Arts Memphis TV presents Kiersten Williams

Kiersten N. Williams was born in Memphis in 1981. She attended Overton High School where she actively pursued art in its advanced program.
She received a Business Management degree from University of Memphis in 2004. After a brief hiatus from practicing art while earning the business degree, Williams reclaimed her passion for creating and has been dedicated to art-making ever since.
Currently you can see Kiersten's work at the Dixon Gallery and Gardns (Now through November 29) as part of the show, Voices of a New South. The opening reception will be held Thursday, September 17th. She is also currently in exhibition at the African-American Museum in Chattanooga, TN (through Nov. 131) and she's scheduled to have a show at the National Civil Rights Museum within the next month.
