Originally from Malaysia, Kong Wee Pang moved to Memphis in 2001 to attend Memphis College of Art.  With a diverse background, her work reflects both eastern and western cultural influences. 

Always keeping an open mind and experimenting with all types of mediums from watercolor to silkscreen to felt, Kong Wee describes her work as, "an extension of my personality, bubbling with enthusiasm and full of whimsical and optimistic expressiveness." In addition to her personal artwork, Kong Wee is an art designer and director for Archer>Malmo, where she has overseen many award-winning projects.
