When I was a young child my mother took me to the Goldsmith's in Mall of Memphis for a "Meet Linda Ronstadt" event. Linda was singing a song and asked the audience for a dance partner, she came over and tried to pull me out from the crowd to dance with her. I vehemently refused despite my mother pushing me to go. I fell to the floor and rolled in to a ball. There was an awkward silence and Linda rolled her eyes and danced off. I still to this day don't really know who Linda Ronstadt is.
