Mobile Music Machine featuring Jeff Hulett

I think Jeff was a little nervous when he first sat down on the Mobile Music Machine but it didn't take long till he was right at home.

The maiden voyage of the Magnificent Mobile Music Machine was a success. There were smiling faces everywhere we went. People took pictures, they asked about the idea, they asked about how we made it, and it was all positive. There were a ton of curious questions.

I know Jeff was having a blast. I think we were all surprised by the overwhelming positive response. Just as we would finish a song and start rolling out for the next spot, someone would run out and throw $20 in the tip bucket. "Just a few more songs please". Jeff and I would look at each other and say.. well okay!

People who attended the South Main Trolley Tour waved and cheered as we passed by them. It was like having our own little parade. A few friends, LFM peeps, and my mom buzzed around on their bikes which certainly added to the festivities. I hope people who like to ride come out and listen to music with us on future voyages.

There were a few technical issues but we worked them out on the fly and kept the Mobile Music Machine rolling long past when we said we were going to stop. It was really just too much fun to quit. When you can make peeps happy just by passing by it really is a great feeling.

I have to say thanks to all the artists and organizations that helped make the Mobile Music Machine a reality. The Revolutions Community Bike Shop donated the parts, the Metal Museum lent their expertise in welding and metal work and the Downtown Commission helped get the project started.
