Flipside Memphis - Rock-n-Romp

Rock-n-Romp totally makes me want to have a kid!!…. no, not really, but if I had one I'd totally be there :)
Currently in it's fourth year, Rock-n-Romp has quickly developed into a staple for family fun. There's great music, games, food, and, of course, beer! The first Rock-n-Romp, held April 1, 2006 in a local parent/music-lover's backyard featured Amy LaVere, Noise Choir, and DJ Colin Butler. Since then, these music-centric gatherings have been attracting parents and children from all over the city.
Not only is this possibly the coolest spot for family fun, but its a great way to support local musicians and expose a whole new generation to Memphis music. Since its inception, Rock-n-Romp has featured over 50 local bands, all representing different styles and genres.
The next Rock-n-Romp will be Saturday, June 19th at Mud Island River Park from 2-5p. For more info, check the links below :)
