So we've been working on something cool. Introducing, the Mobile Music Machine!

We at Live From Memphis have been busy lately. So busy that I noticed that our top secret project isn't getting much coverage. What with the late night trips to The Metal Museum, Revolutions Bike Co-Op and the test runs around Downtown, we haven't really properly introduced everyone to this project.

Well, here's a sample. It's the Mobile Music Machine, a concert stage on a bicycle. Basic in concept, complex in completion. Reyes will give you more insight into the inspiration and building of this thing. I just wanted to send you a taste.

Christopher and Sam Dunn tweaked it and gave it a paint job outside the studio the other day. It certainly gets people's attention as you can tell by the conversational breaks seen in this time lapse.

Every Friday we'll be biking a Memphis musician around Downtown Memphis. Today is our maiden voyage with Jeff Hulett! Catch us on Main Street from 4:30 to 7. We'll be making stops at the trolley tour and you can find our location on Twitter.
