Music Video Showcase

About:
At LFM we care about helping local artists to succeed. That's why we've created many projects and programs to cultivate local talent and gain exposure for our creative scene. All the entries in the Music Video Showcase are either by local directors or local musicians. First launched in 2005, the goal of MVS is to give both local filmmakers and musicians a chance to "rock the big screen!" The event now occurs annually as part of the Indie Memphis Film Festival, which attracts over 5,000 audience members. Cash awards for both "Best Music Video" and "Audience Choice"!

The purpose of this event is to connect musicians and filmmakers, to encourage collaborations and to inspire creativity.
Connect. Collaborate. Create.

Tesitmonials:

"Without question, the Music Video Showcase is always THE highlight of Indie Memphis. I mean, the chance to catch Al Kapone, Muck Sticky, and The Hives all on the same big screen is just something you don't pass up."
-Brad Ellis, Filmmaker. Old School Pictures
"Live from Memphis was bridging the gap between music and film long before anyone in the independent film community even considered music for anything more than soundtrack material...The Music Video Showcase allows fans to indulge in some of the city's best talent in the comfort of a theatre and the big screen. Hats off to Live from Memphis!"
- Pat Mitchell Worley, The Music Foundation
"Always at the crossroads of creative talent and ability, the Live From Memphis Music Video Showcase brings together the best in music and video artistry. From live-performance pieces to the most creatively scripted music videos, the showcase offers the 'best of the best' in locally produced music videos from artists that you won't want to miss."
- David Merrill, Ronin Production Services

"Lord T. and Eloise and had the privilege of showcasing our music video at the Live From Memphis Music Video Showcase to a packed house. It was so amazing to see our video enjoyed by so many on a big screen, but more importantly, it was amazing to see so many Memphians participating. LFM’s Music Video Showcase has succeeded in bringing together music fans and professionals to do what we do best"
- Cameron Mann, Lord T. and Eloise, Music Foundation

"Memphis' vibrant independent film community is only eclipsed by our incredible music scene. The Live from Memphis Music Video Showcase brings the best of both worlds together... It's consistently the most exciting two hours at Indie Memphis."
- C. Scott McCoy, Filmmaker, Oddly Buoyant Productions
