First launched in 2005, the goal of LFM's Music Video Showcase is to give both local filmmakers and musicians a chance to "rock the big screen!" The event now occurs annually as part of the Indie Memphis Film Festival, which attracts over 5,000 audience members. Cash awards for both "Best Music Video" and "Audience Choice"!

The purpose of this event is to connect musicians and filmmakers, to encourage collaborations and to inspire creativity.

So, what are you doing this Saturday at 9pm?....
Going to Malco's Studio on the Square to check out MVS 2007 - that's what.

We've been working for the past couple month on putting together a rockin' showcase of music videos from local bands and local filmmakers; it's a showcase that happens only once a year (held in conjunction with the Indie Memphis film festival), so don't miss it. Here's a listed of the videos:

Live From Memphis, in association with the Indie Memphis film festival, presents the 2007 Live From Memphis Music Video Showcase.

Memphis bands and Memphis filmmakers will have their chance to showcase their music videos at the 2007 Indie Memphis film festival. Videos will be screened at Malco's Studio on the Square (Oct. 19-25, 2007) and an award will be given for “Best Music Video/EPK.” If you are a local filmmaker or local band with a music video – submit it now!


Submission Deadline is September 14, 2007.
