The My Memphis Web Series:
Memphians themselves are the major focus of this project, for these are the individuals that make our city an exceptional place to live. We highlight the people, places, and events-the entertainment, lifestyles, sports, nightlife, and community-that make Memphis a distinguished city.

The My Memphis Mission:
Our mission is to bring our audience a thorough understanding of what makes Memphis unique-our people! Wally Joe, Roxanna Kawas, Craig Brewer and Lily Afshar, have only one place they call home-Memphis. These are some of the individuals that make this city the place to be.

Add comment (0) Originally launched in 2004, the My Memphis project was a first of it's kind! This project was supported by the Memphis and Shelby County government, local business and organizations. The goal was to promote Memphis as a hip and culturally diverse place. As we discovered it wasn't hard to accomplish this. We easily found a group of locals that were interesting, culturally diverse and passionate about Memphis. The original series has over 30 individual short stories about these people in their own words! In 2008 we decided it was time to bring this project back. 2009 we will be launching the second edition of the original My Memphis series. Stay tuned to the My Memphis project in the LFMTV section. Check out the original 2004 episodes. You can also check out the film that was created from the wonderful things these people had to say about their hometown. The film premiered in 2006 to an overwhelming response. You can learn more about the DVD and even see a clip from the premiere. Keep watching for updates! - Christopher Reyes

Live From Memphis currently produces a website, broadcast programing, webseries, live events, and magazine. Launched in January of 2001, LFM has earned much praise for it's grassroots support of local creatives through it's unique, original content, events, and website.

We are Memphis' largest online archive of Memphis Music, Film and Art.
