Last week, a group of monks from the Deprung Loseling Monastery visited the Memphis College of Art to create a traditional Tibetan sand painting.

In November 2000, we planted a maple in our back yard to replace a tree lost in 2003's infamous Hurricane Elvis. Under the tree, we placed some of the ashes of our beloved cat Sly, who had passed away earlier that year. Last spring, the tree, which we dubbed Sly II, started out strong, but by the end of the fall its fate was questionable. So I was very excited when I saw it budding last week.

This little rabbit visited the set of Mike McCarthy's Cigarette Girl with the Intruder. Who knew they would actually be smoking cigarettes?
