The Subteens Never Gonna Happen "Never Gonna Happen" is the new single by the band you thought was never gonna release another song. The Subteens are back baby! Well, sort of… The song, featuring all original band members, was written and recorded specifically for a Church Health Center benefit CD that's being released by the good folks at Makeshift Music. We joined the band at Unclaimed Recordings and had a pretty good time hangin with the guys who hadn't really played together in about 4 years. It was definitely cool to see veteran rockers laying down tracks that were barely rehearsed – they practically wrote the whole thing on the fly. They knocked out a great song for a great cause. The Subteens may be all punk-rock and stinky on the outside, but we know they’re really all soft and cuddly on the inside. Be sure to check them out at the benefit concert coming up later this month.
