CONNECT, COLLABORATE, CREATE.
Live From Memphis is an entertainment powerhouse for good. We are dedicated to producing social experiences, content, and resources to inspire, engage, and enrich Memphis’ cultural and economic growth. Connect, Collaborate, Create is our call-to-action that lifts our community as a whole.
We specialize in authentic storytelling that holds up a mirror to Memphis, so we can see our amazing, funky, eclectic, one-of-a-kind selves. Memphis has a deep cultural legacy that most cities would give anything to have, but we’re more than that. Together, we can forge a future that blends the richness of our past with the brilliance of our present to create a legacy all our own.
LIVE FROM MEMPHIS
MUSIC, FILM, ART, CULTURE
Live From Memphis not only encourages trust and community engagement, but it also fosters civic pride by showcasing a diverse and contemporary image of the city. Together, we can shape a common vision, generate social capital, and leave a positive impact on the place we call home.
OUR Founding BELIEFs
DOCUMENT
We believe in preserving Memphis' cultural legacy through documentation. It’s not just an act of recording history, it’s an act of love for our community. This helps future generations understand and appreciate the richness of our creative past and how it was shaped. Not only are we preserving the legacy of Memphis creatives, we’re also supporting their efforts.
ELEVATE
Sharing the vibrant stories and experiences of our local community is not just about showing the world who we are, it's about lifting the voices of those who might otherwise go unheard. By doing so, we not only contribute to the overall cultural and economic growth of the area, we also embrace the beauty, diversity, and soul of our community.
INSPIRE
We want people to truly connect and get involved! For us, it's about fostering a sense of community, belonging, and connection. It's about providing opportunities for cultivating a sense of shared purpose and cohesion within the community. It's about nurturing a richer life for all of us and for future generations.
WHY WE DO IT
We believe the grass is greener in our own backyard, and it is our duty to raise awareness, create opportunity, and build a better future for Memphis and its creatives. We’re developing programs and partnerships that set the stage for opportunity and growth. This helps you, it helps us, and it helps to nurture future generations.
Who We Are
We’re specialists, a collective of storytellers, artists, filmmakers, musicians, technologists, and problem solvers dedicated to being local. We collaborate with our creative contemporaries to produce relevant solutions and meaningful works that captivate and create value for our audiences. This is our foundation of authenticity and empathy for the community we serve. We’re creating positive stories and experiences for the greater good.
WHAT WE DO
Live From Memphis is focused on sustainability. We partner with local artists and organizations to produce authentic stories and experiences focusing on creatives and culture through both owned and earned media development. Our team of storytellers and media specialists create strategies that resonate with your audience while lifting your brand and the community as a whole. We strive to make the most out of every bit of your media assets and ours.
It’s a partnership. If you look good, we look good, our creatives benefit, and Memphis feels better about itself while we elevate our reputation to the outside world.
HOW WE DO IT
We created an ecosystem of artists, creatives, non-profits, businesses, and civic organizations with which to connect, collaborate, and create. Our partnerships bring people and organizations out of their silos to work together for common goals. Our network allows us to connect the dots and create opportunities while we empower creatives and engage audiences with meaningful stories and experiences.
